Lost Words Singing Workshop for Kids with Beth Porter
Saturday 2nd May from 2pm to 4pm Age: 7 - 14 | Ticket price: £5
A workshop focusing on nature themes inspired by the beautifully illustrated book, ‘The Lost Words’ by Jackie Morris and Robert Macfarlane. Beth will teach the group songs inspired by the book which were written by Spell Songs, one of her musical projects. Limited places available.
The workshop will start with some introductions, voice exercises and warm up games. There will be a 15-minute break for snacks around 3pm (bring your own snack and a bottle of water to keep hydrated).
About Beth
Beth Porter is a Scottish-based multi-instrumentalist, singer, and songwriter known for her versatile contributions to a wide range of genres, including folk, pop, and contemporary classical music. She has been a prolific session musician for decades and a key member of several collaborative projects.
