About the Event
PA Pop Up Artist and Makers are a group of professional artists from across Dumfries and Galloway. They have three shops in Kirkcudbright, Castle Douglas and Gatehouse of Fleet, and are popping up at The Merse throughout the Book Festival and Fringe. Artists are selected for the quality of their work, and each shop offers a vibrant mix of beautifully crafted ceramics, glass, illustration, jewellery, metals, artwork, paper craft, photography, textiles, wood, painting, prints and cards.
The PA Pop Up operates as a co-operative, with all members contributing to the running of each shop and The Merse exhibition shop. You will find one of the artists or makers on duty each day, greeting customers and handling sales.
